Learning & Teaching: Mathematics In Context

An In-Service Program for Teachers of Mathematics, K-8
Cosponsored by the UNH Dept. of Mathematics & Statistics

This helps math teachers meet individual and curriculum needs through on-site training at the school and classroom. It provides practical assistance and support in: integrating math investigation into classroom planning; developing a repertoire of math questions to challenge student thinking; utilizing standards-based resources for math curriculum planning; working with authentic assessment techniques to evaluate student math progress; and developing effective management systems for using cooperative learning.

Participants receive graduate credit for this training.
